Emma Hunter NZIronman2008

My Ironman build up proudly sponsored by Alpe D'Huez Cycling gear.

Emma Hunter Ironman 2008

Follow my progress towards IM NZ 2008. I am 28, 5ft 2.5in, dark blonde curly hair, married to Bede, am often likened to an energizer bunny as I'm always on the go.

I love training for triathlon, and competed for New Zealand in the World Long Distance Age Group Championships in Lorient, France in July 2007 where I placed 6th in the 25-29 age group.

I followed this by a 4th overall female placing in the Taupo Half Ironman in December.

In the New Year I start a new job at Thomson Brookers as Event Manager.

I am proudly sponsored cycling clothing company Alpe d'Huez....

and BlueSeventy wetsuits, I wear the Helix....

and supported by Lee, Steve and Richard at Planet Cycles, where I got my new Giant Trinity, check out their site:

I promise to provide you with some laughs, and some shockers and maybe even some words of advice to help you in your own triathlon goals, be it your first sprint tri, or your first, or first of many, IM experiences.

Bring it on!
